Hey Gang, happy MDW weekend. Anyone know where to look for WC for a courier company. Problem I am running into all employees are part-time paid via 1099.

Would WC even apply here? They're all self employed, right? My ignorance is showing, so if there is a WC option for a group of self-employed folks, I will find it fascinating.
mail courier, so for example in Jersey City and NYC they deliver on foot same day. They received a letter from the state saying they needed to carry it, I called the state as well and they said they are recognizing them as employees
