Crazy Monkey Leads

I must say so far from my personal experience crazy monkey leads are not that great. Or maybe its just this batch or area.. Either way I'm fighting to make a profit back right now. Using my same appt setter that does the DM's for me also so it's not that. I'll let you all know when I close all the leads out

I could never compare TM leads to DM in my area. They are totally different animals. When you live in an area with very poor DM returns you have to use the TM. That makes TM leads less expensive for me so I can afford to go through more leads to get the same number of sales. As for DM, I am lucky to get 6 cards returned per thousand sent, so that makes my cost per lead over $65. I can get TM leads for $16 each (or less; I have used some of Thad's).

But the CML leads are as good as any I have tried. There seems to be more fluctuation with setting appointments with TM leads as far as good days and bad days. But I think most TMs are that way.

Damn $65 per lead! Yeah I see why you use TM I would too. Like I said though it could just be a funky batch.

Ill keep working it until a leads are contacted

Can anybody explain why an area that gets poor DM returns, get better returns for TM leads ?

I would think that they would both be equally as tough. What am I missing ?

I would venture a guess that DM is saturated in certain areas(MA, supp, final expense, etc.), more than others, but TM is not as saturated ?

No one is standing behind you begging you to fill the card out and mail it in.

Tennessee in general has less DM response than farther north. I often drive to cities to get more appointments in a day. My last mailer was in Chattanooga and I got a poor return there also. With TMs, you at least know how many leads you you will be working and even if you are only able to set 20% of those leads to appointments, you can still have more f2f time with less cost than with DM .

Without lead credits from SNL my cost for my first 2 FE mailers would have been $60 per lead. I only got back 15 DM leads back from 2,000 which cost $880 (I paid $440).

My TM were 10 for $350 and netted my 3 sales but a few had zero interest whatsoever. The telemarketer can basically bully a weak elderly client to stay on the phone and answer a few questions even if they are half deaf and senile.

At least to fill out a card and mail it back takes a little effort. It's kinda like a lottery or gambling, at least with 1,000 mailers going out you can dream of getting a big return. With TM you know you only get a set number, in my case it was 10, but at least it's guaranteed. With DM the result could potentially be zero.

Another advantage of DM I noticed is that if a wife takes the call and says, yes, yes, yes without her husband being around, in many cases the husband can easily wreck the the deal. That happened to 2 of mine.

I think their is more opportunity for the husband & wife to get on the same page before mailing back the lead card.
