Credit Card Rewards Programs/travel-hacking?

Any of you all use a credit cards reward program for your expenses?

I hadn't, but after adding up my expenses this year (especially w leads) I could have racked up some nice cc rewards (either cash or miles). Of course I only mention this being beneficial if you pay off your card in full each month.

So I googled to see the cards out there that might work and came across the term "travel-hacking". Apparently people spend a lot of time and research on this and change cards up to every few months. Just spoke to someone who took their family of five to Hawaii for free

Regardless, just wanted to see if any of you guys have done this in the past and the results you've see and or card(s) you prefer.

Yep i got 7 free rooms this year and just got a check for $1500

Just read an article that this Black Friday broke a record on gun background checks.

Good, we need more of those in our hands, especially in regards to todays mass shooting. You watch, mark my words, terrorists. 3 shooters, mil surp garb, masked....yep its not a nut job, its a coordinated attack on an official government building, just watch, the libtards are already screaming for more gun control.....which we already have. Im not giving up jack squat because some idiots attack us....all the more reason to buy more ammo and get more training, its coming boys.

care to share what you do?

Put any and all hotel, gas, food, leads and strippers on my credit card.:D Almost all of that is tax deductible, almost:D:D

I believe the article said there has been a steady increase since 2006.

All leads go on a Citibank double cash reward card with no interest. You earn 1% when you buy and 1% when you pay and I have about $100-150 from the last five months using it.

Might not be the best program but I consider that house money

We use a VISA rewards card for everything. My work expenses. Groceries, gas, dining out, etc.

I pay it off every month so I've never paid a cent in interest. We got a rental paid for in Key West. My wife got an iPad. She just got a Garmin watch. We went to South Dakota in June, the points paid for our flights and our rental car.

So yeah, it's worth it.
