If someone told me back in 2016 when I landed here that so many regulars would be nearly devoid of objectivity in 5 years I'd have not believed it.

Today Biden went and did some sort of executive order that apparently forces schools to allow bilogical males to compete with females if said males "identify" as female. I don't get it. I am all for not discriminating for jobs, education, etc. But this pushes me over the edge. It is, imo, objectively the wrong policy for the country with respect to that issue.

Trump has done so many objectively wrong things to this country over the last four years. And I see no one here willing or able to call him out on it.

Makes no sense ... frankly boggles my mind. Folks against labor rights and health care for all but all in favor of having a White House conduct a massive disinformation campaign meant to undermine the very constitution that is the only thing that can keep us to some extent free.

I agree, Obama, in the end, was a pos ... I did not vote for him either time.

But dude, I'd take 8 more years of Obama over even one more year of Trump anytime.

I have called him out for making this election such a mess

I also called him out for pardoning some for weapons gang-related and attempted murder charges fuming about that

Though the left media won't condemn him for it because they were rappers

Hi mouth I have been frustrated with though he is among wolves and he was hired because of all the bullies on the left so I guess that comes with it

But what else has he done wrong for this country he did do a lot of good

Trump did turn around the titanic after the Obama years if it were not for trump the economy would have tanked but then came corona and noone could have done much with that

My objectivity ceases when in bumps up against truth and absolutes. Always did always will. I didn't loose objectivity my beliefs haven't changed from 2016 until now, but others are asking me to change what I believe. Same guy... same issue with hair.

But in all of this, agree or disagree, we can remain civil and friendly.

Boy, as much as I am very glad to not have to watch Trump press conferences any more with his cringeworthy behavior, this made me laugh today when we are starting to see the real historical Biden behaviour. On his 1st day, a reporter tries to ask a Covid vaccines goal question & the assistant is trying to whisk Biden out to avoid answering questions & he goes to his old move of belittling & bullying the reporter. What is wrong with these people we put in office that they are such A-holes & why are we so stupid to keep putting them into high office. The narcissism & arrogance must be a required trait to get the nominations

Where do you get racial segregation there is nothing about that

Religion right now the only religion that is banned is Christianity they tach Islam stuff now and lies about it being a peaceful religion

I agree that there is indoctrination in schools. I live in the south, so I see it all over this region.

There has been a movement in school curriculum, led by conservative led State Legislatures, to replace actual scientific facts with unfounded religious beliefs and political talking points.

Many southern states are still using outdated material that is factually inaccurate. Alternative theories" about the origin of this planet are taught... contrary to what every credible scientist says... along with simple logic. Human caused climate change is downplayed and even contradicted in some states,... contrary to scientific fact.... and simple logic.

Dont even get me started on economics classes in highschool around this area...

My kids economics teacher was removed from teaching that class... because she told them any "socialist policy" such as Meicaid/SS/stimulus payments/universal health care; is a tool that Communists use to indoctrinate people into Communism. The textbook for the class did not say that... she inserted her own personal political beliefs into the lesson in an effort to convince children to think like she does, regardless of facts, regardless of what her job was.

And I know I know... "scientific facts" used to say the world was flat .... but if you actually knew the facts surrounding that issue... you would know that is not accurate. Simply an ill informed talking point that ignores the information at hand about both of those issues.

Of course when your life is on the line from an illness... suddenly all those people put their trust in science to save their ass...

History will remember this era in the US as the height of hypocrisy... and full of tragic irony.
