Curt Schilling: AIG Cancelled Insurance Due To 'Social Media Profile'

Would agree many Christians can be ugly toward fellow citizens they don't agree with & can also look harder at others sins they find as worse sins than their own.

However, the Bible is pretty clear that Jesus was disgusted by politicians & called out on a regular basis the Pharisees & Sadducees. He called out their hypocrisy & even got violent toward them. He entered their courts & turned over tables in calling the government officials robbers. Matthew 21:13

Just saying that Jesus was not always soft & he did call out those who he saw as hypocrites, even those in power

Ah but the Pharisees & Sadducees was because they were the keepers of the word of God not because they were politicians

Jesus said to give to Cesar what is ceases let the dead bury the dead, He didn't get involved in actual politics

Whenever I am done backsliding I won't either but now I am full in the world and backslidden and have been for few years

However, I do know he was about Father buis and the kingdom of heaven and mostly to come for the lost sheep and lead them to salvation

He did not come to save the world he was clear the end of it and where it will go as well as the Will of Man. he had nothing to do with it except to bring the message of salvation from the coming Judgment

Oh if I could only care about the right things and not the things of this world

while it is true they were religious leaders, they were also the political leaders of Israel (Judah) during Jesus time. Rome left most of the running of government to the local leaders. The Sanhedrin, dominated by Sadducees, had their own jails & police. The Sanhedrin were the equivalent of congressmen & senators. In return for their support of Roman rule, the Sadducees kept their wealth & their privileged position secure.

in some aspects, that sure sounds similar to how our republican & democratic elected officials continue to live by complete hypocritical rules for the masses that they tend to not follow or abide by & gain more & more wealth while they are in office or after they leave

Jesus specifically told them it was because they were intrusted in teaching the word of God, He also charged them with dishonoring their position in God

He was Very Very clear this was the reason not politics but in the things of God

There was much to talk about with the roman govt who really was in charge but he did not, In fact, he told Pilot as much he is not involved with it

Clearing the air just a bit on the mention of Christ..

It is clear that he came to do the will of his father. The father's will was to seek and save that which was lost... regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or creed. That said, the way is narrow, few that find it and woe to them that reject him. (All this can be validated by scripture, not my opinion, I didn't write it.)

As to Christian faith, I think for me the best way to understand it goes something like this:

"Many people know facts about God, but very few have a relationship with God."

... the difference between the two are as far removed as life and death.

That's why Trump's evangelical base called him out over his "shithole" country comments, or mocking of a disabled person, or the grabbing women comments, or calling a race robbers and rapists. They particularly disliked his separating kids from their parents at the border. Support for Trump amongst evangelicals plunged as low as 80% according to exit polls. In retaliation to Trump, rioters attending the Washington protest and insurrection carried flags such as "Jesus Saves," "In God We Trust," "Jesus 2020," and "Jesus Is My Savior, Trump Is My President." One man marched through the halls of Congress carrying a Christian flag, another a Bible.

I still say most of his "supporters" just thought he was better than the alternative. They would have rather voted for someone else. But over these 4 years, he's honestly proven to be much better than some of us expected.

Also 4 out of 5 of your above charges are pure fake news purposely taken out of context BALONEY. The one that's true he's apologized for multiple times and says he regrets it.

January 6th was planned and MOST of those who stormed the capitol BELIEVED they were going to succeed in having Congress throw out the electoral votes from states that didn't vote for their guy.
