Dairy Queen

"Has anybody ever passed out their business cards at the local Dairy Queen? There's always some old people hanging out there. "

Instead of (in addition to) passing out business cards, why not buy them a cone and give them a quick talk about what you do. You have a captive audience and if you have a warm initial response, it could pay off. Handing your biz card without any other value added will see that card tossed in the trash most likely. Put a magnet on the back of your card and it might see the fridge. Always try to get a name and number and/or email address.

My favorite are 65+ people paying $100 or more monthly for AARP, Globe, Lincoln Heritage, American Income, Liberty National, or Old American. Nice big stack of of $100 bills on one of those. Easy as pie.

I also like the high premium UL policies where a large amount of depleting cash value is evident by a recent statement. Can make 10 or 20 grand on those of those, provided they are healthy. Not your typical FE client but nice when you find them.

I don't like people with no life insurance, because I find them a harder sell.. they have to figure out where they can fit their payments in their budget.

I like stacks of Benjis.

@PB Great idea!

Hardees at breakfast is when you we see the most seniors in these parts.

Really?

True. Same as putting flyers on windshields, or door hangers.

I had my kids write my contact information on Easter eggs this year and we threw them at old people that were walking into church. My phone hasn't stopped ringing since. And yes we hard boiled them first so we wouldn't mess up their clothes...
