Developing a Web Site for Health Sales

Some of the bid prices are so absurd, no one could pay them. No one's going to convince me that any lead vendor is paying $30+ per click.
30??? Man, you must be kidding... Hahaha!!! What about $100 per click for car insurance in (if I'm not wrong) in Wisconsin?

There is a way to get PPC work, but it must be your job, or you have to hire someone fulltime to do the job or you can hire a company to do it, but prices may deeply offend you. I got an offer today from one of top US SEO companies, to optimize my web site, to create robots, sitemap files, to canonize URLs and so on, typical "SEO package". $5000. Guys even didn't pay attention that I have done all of that stuff already... :err:

So you believe that $5000 is an adequate fee for setting title and 2-3 different meta tags, on a dozen of pages? I then will be happy to do it for $2500. :1tongue:

I just thought the idea of finding someone's price high to be offensive was funny.... I don't care what other people are charging.

Pay per click people are tire kickers only. 75% of people who are deeply thinking about purchasing enter 4 to 7 words in their search string.

I do not want to sound like the grim reaper, but our 1,500,000+ data records do not give a positive forecast. For every 100 agents that received their license the say day as you, only 7 will make it past 4 years.

Knowing this, you should do everything in your power now, as time in not on your side.

My positive experiences with PPC all turned bitter. It appeared (no accusations being made) as if Google knew I was actually turning a profit and raised and raised and raised the bid prices.

There was no rhyme or reason for it - me being admittedly uneducated. What was a successful keyword phrase at say $3.15 per click would slowly creep up and up and up. It left a bitter taste in my mouth - like Google saying "well if John's willing to pay $3.15, surely he'll pay $4.15. And if he'll pay $4.15...."

Some of the bid prices are so absurd, no one could pay them. No one's going to convince me that any lead vendor is paying $30+ per click. Sorry...you won't convince me. With a 4:1 click through a lead would cost $120. Ain't buying it.

Google Adwords considers your "quality score" when determining your bids. It's more likely that you had a poor quality score than Google felt you might be willing to pay more. I am in the process of designing a template for insurance websites, anyone interested in info please let me know.

Many other people are already ahead of you, so starting now wouldn't be the easiest, unless you have a super budget lol...

(unless your just trying to dominate your state for SEO and get at best 20 visitors a month of which 5 actually want quotes and 1 answers the phone.) lol
