You can have all the training in the world and access to top producers like you say, but it really comes down to your level of talent.

Well, there is talent, by which I suppose you mean native ability, and then there is skill.

I do believe some folks are "born" with a personality that makes developing sales skills easier. And there are probably a few who utterly lack anything upon which to build and would be better off picking aa different line of work.

But most folks can be taught to present and close life insurance.

I've heard Jeff Root use the analogy of new agents needing a run way from which to launch into profitability. Some will need a longer runway than others. But almost anyone who buys leads and diligently practices a presentation and then works, actually gets on the phone and makes those dials should be able to become a profitable producer.
