Direct Bill

Typically if the new client wants to pay monthly, bank draft is pretty much the only option today. Companies will direct bill for an annual payment.

I would not want to sell a policy that is monthly direct bill. That type of policy is going to have the worst persistency. Renewals are the life blood of this industry.

The objection that they don't want their bank to automatically make the payment each month is very easy to overcome.

Frank, don't mess up this time, come on can't you do anything right!!!

Well if you don't offer a 30% contract, 36 month advance, preset appointments at no charge, prospects that have their checkbook open waiting on me then I wont work with you.

Oh, by the way I have a 10K vector balance but I know that won't be a problem right?? I have a 30% persistency rating but that isn't my fault,, I am a really good agent!!....

I realized that as soon as I hit the "send" button.

Some days I guess I take all of this too seriously. :twitchy:

If you are willing to settle for a 30% contract and only a 36 month advance I'll pick up your vector balance.

With that kind of awesome persistency I'll make at least that much money off of you in the first six months. (Do you want a hit on this before I put it out?) :twitchy:
