Hello,
I always had a PPO through work until 2004. I somehow got severe bi-polar disorder that completely wrecked my life and had the Doctors trying to make me a ward of the state after the 3rd episode. I was never violent, I just became manic and delusional. It was caused by anti depressants. I've been stable for 3 years now and want off disability and think I am about to get job offer-contract basis- that includes health insurance. I was given Federal Disability the first time I applied in 2005. I now only have Medicare A, B, D. Can I get private insurance if the company will not put me on their plan with all the hospitalizations?
Getting my medicine is life or death and I'm scared to go back to work and not have the 4-5K per month to cover the minimal monthly price to stay sane and alive if I don't qualify for insurance.
