Do any mutual companies contract with independent agents?

There used to be one where you could get a PPGA contract... but they aren't mutual anymore.

I started at that sales desk when I came to Guardian, that was back in 96.
I did it 6 years...who knows maybe we spoke at some point.

I was a mutual fund wholesaler until 2003 so chances are slim.
