Do CRNP count as a PCP?

Im having issues with CRNP’s and designating them as a PCP when I write a policy. For instance, Ill find the practice associated with the CRNP as in network, but the CRNPs name gives me an error when trying to assign them as a PCP. Any ideas?

They're probably under a PCP's umbrella.

Yep, find the name of the M.D. or D.O. for the practice and use that name in the provider search.

Yeah I had this same issue when I first started. These guys set you straight.

You have to find the MD that they answer to and you use that person‘s name

Some NP's are billable doctors but the vast majority aren't.. I usually just google the address and find an MD/DO and assign that person instead.
