Actually, quoting straight from a dec page may not work if the policy has been in force for any length of time.

There may have been a rate change for that area. There may have been an underwriting change that impacts the rates. Or, if a credit state, perhaps a change in credit.

It should not happen but it has happened to me, I quoted a Travelers HO5 policy strait from the dec page and could not match it or come close even with all possible discounts.

Exactly, this is my point, you can have everything you need in front of you, compare everything the same, and comes back different.

It happens, and it happens often, I think
