Does Anyone Sell Insurance Door to Door Anymore?

Good gosh no. Not for 40 years. Here in CA everyone is hiding behind security doors. That's what the phone is for. I was reading the other day that over 80% of all health insurance policies will be researched and/or sold on the web by the year 2012. Now that is a bit scary.

Sure, selling door to door is more personal and as a salesman you have a much higher conversion rate if you can meet somebody face to face to sell a policy, but technology offers more opportunities for more sales.

Truely said Dave, I agree with your judgement 100%

If you have the guts for it, it can work. I know a very successful real estate agent that goes door to door regularly in my area. He laughs all the way to the bank. People slam the door in his face and he walks right up to the next door with a smile on his face. Every time that I had tried to go door to door in the past, I had given up too early. Maybe I should try it again?

Since this thread is designed for questions...here are a few more to ponder:

Will the Cubs win the World Series this century? Not Likely!

Will any of you name your children Kobe? Definitely not!

Has anyone else on this Board seen "Heart" in concert? Not me!

What is the air flight speed of the African Swallow? Not a Clue?
