Does Metlife A&H Steal Your Bonus? Clients?

Im considering taking on Met as a carrier as an IA in NY..2 feedbacks from other agents...

1--"Dont write them--every chance they get they will steal a client from you"

2--"Don't write them--every Dec. my loss ratio goes mysteriously up so my bonus get cut--then the LR drops every Jan."

Any similiar ( or good ) experiences with MET..?

I have had met for 20 years. I don't use them anymore. Yes, they steal clients. If you have an account that calls direct for a new home they are purchasing, met will take the home in house without any notice. They don't refer customers back to the agent.

Their rates are not very competitive in NY for the past 3 years. I have not noticed what others have described.

Im not in ny but I have been happy with met in my area. Pricing support and bonuses. I am not captive with them
