Door to Door Sales Secrets.

Door to Door sales is an oldschool technique that still works.

It is by the the cheapest way to get business.

I have never knocked doors in a residential area but have done businesses. The success I have had was with small companies with under 5 lives and individual sales.

If you not writing any business then that is the best way to generate.

Now to come out and post the secrets to door to doors sales yet you hate doing is a bit odd. I mean your opening pitch is super weak. Being d2d salesmen you would think you would have a better opening.

Can I interest you in a vacuum?

Is that better? LOL

There is no special magic with door to door. You ring the bell and or knock. Person comes to door and says get the h out of here or come on in sonny. Would you like something to drink? You tell them how lovely their family is and listen to their life story. You leave with a policy on everyone including the grandbaby! There is no charge for this valuable information if it were sold it's value would be $1246,66

I always thought a good door-to-door product to sell would be a "no soliciting" sign. You carry signs and a cordless screwdiver, when they answer you say "sorry to bother you during dinner. I could be the last door-to-door salesman you ever see. I'll hang this sign for you right now and get off your porch for only $29.99" Then you hang the sign up and move to the next house.

Hello fellow Insurance agents!

Just thought I'd chime in on this one.

Are you ready?....for the secret to door to door sales?

Well, there really is no secret. What it takes is WORK.

If you work it they will come. If you do this you need to at
least give 3+ hours to see results. The 1st hour might be crap but if you don't give up invariably it will even out to about 3-4 leads per hour.

That was my personal results. Haven't done it in a while...maybe I'll start up again pretty soon because the weather is going to be nice:)

By the way, there was no charge for that.

Why does this thread remind me of the old joke about the mormons?

There are these two mormons walking from door to door trying to tell people about their faith. They knock on this one old fella's door, and his face just lights up as he asks them to come on in and sit down. He offers them a cold drink, gets them to sit down on the couch, and starts to shoot the bull with them.

Then the old man says, "well, you probably didn't come here just to have small talk with me - what would you like to ask me about?"

The two mormons look at each other, shrug their shoulders, and say "we don't know, we've never made it this far in our presentation"

Yup.
And if you want a little motivational kick in the butt, go to your local library and rent the dvd "Door to door" about Bill Porter, or read the book about Bill Porter.

Hey, between the two of us, we just saved everbody $97 - you think we could split the sales that would have been made by this guy on his "how to" ebook?
