Jamesflou mentioned an agent in Hampton he admired, and that agent was heavily promoting the "missed fortune" concept a few years ago. They had a connection with a mortgage broker out west who, it turns out, was not licensed to do mortgages. They had an MLM type structure to pay the agent mega bucks on the loans they did and then earn even more placing the withdrawn equity in an F&G UL policy.
This agent tried recruiting me into his scheme on more than one occasion. It didn't pass the smell test then, and that was probably 3 years ago.
There are probably quite a few agents who are finding themselves wishing they had an unlisted number as a result of the housing meltdown.
