Not all prospects are broke the day after they "get their money". Why would you write them Modified when they can get Graded?
Most are on my experience. I'm okay with them paying a little more for something that will stay on the books. A graded policy does no good if it lapses.

Perhaps a different ideology. One that I can stand behind.

I guess that's why I'm not a full time FE agent...that and the bugs, cat piss soaked couches and and piles of dog crap every where you try to step.

I've bought FE avatar and TM leads and decided that I'll just cross sell it off of Med Supps so I don't have to watch wear I step.

So in your opinion a graded death benefit has worse persistency that a GI? Well this man takes a multitude of heart medications so I am not sure he will be around too long so I think the wife might appreciate 40% of the death benefit instead of her money back. Plus the graded policy is about the same price he was paying for GI. Also the man still works so why are you assuming he needs to be put on SS billing?

Some don't but the vast majority of our clients do . Even the clients that work get paid around every 2 weeks with dates falling on different days .An example . The 3rd fell on a sat this month . Not enough time to set up ss billing for aug with Trans . So Trans tried to take out Monday the 5th . It bounced . Know I have to go out there and get the policy redated for sept .I should have just had the policy dated for sept . My ss direct express business has very good persistency . SS billing correctly is so important.I'm also about ready to not use any co's outside GI that don't have true ss billing . It's so critical

No I'm saying a company with true social security billing is where I would place my business as much as possible. I KNOW that those policies will draft correctly. GI not so much.

SS Billing vs a GI companies billing (AIG) are not even in the same league. I see agents with 90+% AmAm persistency and 50%ish AIG. I'm gonna write with a carrier that knows what they are doing if at all possible.

But again, each agent is free to do what they'd like for their own business.

Could you imagine a GI product that did SSB and was 0-85? (Hey gerber are you listening!!!!)

But GI, when they can qualify for Graded? :err:
