Entresto

Ok Greg what's the commish on your GI product ? Can an independent agent get contracted and just sell that ? If not it's irrelevant. Also isn't SL's GI a 3 yr wait ?Ran into a woman today who could hardly breath . Has been in 2 coma's last 2 yrs . From now on 80% of my GI is going to be written with Great western with a 9 month chargeback on death only .

I wrote my first 2 DE cases lately. One stuck and one did not. The one that didn't had an emergency hospitalization where a kidney stone was crushed and then got stuck on it's way out. She received a bill she wasn't expecting and as soon as she pays it off I will rewrite her.

Was this with SL?

Seems like I get leads where quite a few have COPD and then there are orders where CHF is prominent. As far as I know no one offers level to people with CHF. Only Aetna will do graded, right?

Prosperity will in theory, as long as no new treatment within 2 years... I feel that this is very uncommon, but their underwriters tell me they will take it under this scenario. Also UHL EIWL will take CHF on the 12%/24% ROP model.

I have seen 4 people lately who take Entresto. I got GI, but was wanting a GDB other than Aetna. They are a little pricey.

That is not how their underwriting works. That's how it works for cleansheeters only.

That's what I said as well, but talking to their underwriters, they say as long as no treatment within 2 years they will take level. I'm not writing that policy, and it CERTAINLY would not pay out if death within contestability, but there are some in the industry using this "niche".

Personally, I'm writing UHL EIWL on CHF cases.

These comments aren't directed at you.

It's simple. You cannot get rid of CHF. You will always be under treatment for it.

If you have CHF, that answer should always be answered yes. Period.

What cleansheeting agents will do is rationalize it as:
  • If you weren't originally diagnosed with the last 2 years then you can say no.
  • If you haven't had any new treatment within the last 2 years then you can say no.
All of these attempts are lies. None of these would ever be paid if they died in the first 2 years of the policy.
