If somebody really wants to make Friends on Facebook, let me know. Does 500 a week with no effort sound okay? However for life insurance I cannot guarantee anything, and the limit is normally 5,000. Well 5 out of 5,000 might even work -- cheaper than leads.

My brain is not working this week. I'm at home sick..
But facebook can be used as a tool to brand yourself. It can't be your only source, but it is a piece of the big puzzle.
Linkedin is also good tool.

I will agree with you as Linkedin, ***** However do not make the mistake of just joining insurance forums. Join those your client might belong to. Then team up with a friend to bounce questions back and forth.
A tip on Linkedin. Have your spouse join. As 50 groups belong, have her join a dozen women groups, etc.
I can tell you how for $50.00 (nothing to me), how you can get at least 4,000 executives and business people wanting to connect with you within 12 months.
Here's one for you Mark: When you and another member get around 7,000 connections, get your own group started. Emailing will be with full permission of Linkedin. You can be the owner with 7 managers. Plus about 18 moderators.
I have just over 5,000 selective connections. 3,500 are by way of the $50 method, and 1,500 by groups I belong to. I never waste time sending invitations.
