Farmers to Arrowhead

After 7 years of claims free history, I had a 44% rate increase from Farmers on my homeowners insurance. I got a great rate quoted from Arrowhead Insurance on an HOB policy. I'm saving about $800 per year for about the same coverage. Has anyone had any experience with Arrowhead? Any issues that I should be concerned about?

I think arrowhead is not an insurance company it's a general agency. So what company are they using for the quote.

I think Sales71 is correct. Where are they located.

I have my auto insurance with Geico. So, I called them since they have previously offered to quote my home. They said it would be with Arrowhead and the carrier is
Universal Insurance Company of North America

Universal being sold by Geico now? Now everything makes sense. Too good to be true at first, non credit homeowners and they really gave it away to anyone with a newer build. loved the equipment breakdown as well, was an easy sell. They lost a lot of attention when they pulled the auto product increasing renewals, and changed to whole new credit based home product in the same year.

They did checked my credit and the rate was phenomenal (my credit is average), compared to Farmers renewal rate. They have a good credit rating but that does not always paint the actual picture of them. I did not want to jump too quick before checking them out since my policy does not renew for a few more weeks.

I finally did find them on TDI and saw where they had a rate increase approved last year.
