74F in CA in wheelchair because of hip problems. Can get out and walk around if needed. She did have a stent 2-3 yrs ago but no problems since. Was just rejected by Globe Life though. Any ideas on companies or rates? Looking for 30k. Thanks in advance.

Americo is in Ca and they will go to $30,000. The question on the app about wheelchair is "confined?".

Foresters might take her too but I don't their app in front of me. They will do the $30,000 if she is accepted.

$195/mo with Americo. $198/mo with Foresters. Americo is a policy, Foresters is a certificate and higher priced. I think I would look at Americo first.

The fact that she was declined by Globe is going to automatically DQ her with some companies.

What companies? Oxford is the only FE company I know of that still asks that question.

Bingo!!! I had just posted Oxford would be $194.36 for 30k. As soon as I posted it I remembered that Oxford won't issue it if declined in the past 2 years, so I deleted it.

While not a major player, Sterling Investors Life goes back 6 months on that question. I have a lady that couldn't get Oxford because of that and didn't qualify for American Continental because of an aneurysm. They're a little higher, but Sterling will take her when it's been more than 6 months since she was declined.

Cigna's not a stand a lone policy...has to be written with he Med Supp...they go back 2 years, but it's not an automatic decline.

Hey, that's pretty funny given that the question is about a wheel chair bound client.

Pay attention...I was responding to JD asking which companies ask if they've been declined by another company for life insurance.:twitchy:

I'd use Foresters. If given an option between point of sale approval (Foresters) and Americo (crossing fingers), I'd choose Foresters any day. Plus Americo is very unpredictable, and they have a tendency to suck because of this.

I do not write for LH anymore, but I wrote a few people with wheelchairs for them. Never had any issues surprisingly.

I however do not recommend working for LH at any time:1laugh: Just use an agent who is and split it up:yes:
