FE in Illinois

So, I've been doing MedSupps for a couple of months, and am getting comfortable with it. I want to start offering FE products (I have a new couple I just wrote a med supp for that is interested) but I only have Forethought right now.

I'm in IL. What are some other companies I can contract through for FE type products. My GA is getting me NGL, but that's a different kind, I think, maybe nursing home expense or something?

I know I sound a bit ignorant, but I suppose everyone is when they first get started.

Any advice would be great, thanks!

Also, who would be good to contract with for younger people for life insurance? I'm talking bigger amounts than FE. I figure why not offer my clients' kids some quality insurance?

RNA, Americo, American Continental, Foresters, Monumental.

Don't get tham all at once. Get a couple that will cover all ages like RNA and Monumental and learn them inside and out. once you are comfortable with them add others one at a time. You will figure out which companies you like to use and what each one offers or where they have a niche.

For the younger, healthier people try Assurity, LaFayette, Ohio National , Royal Neighbors and then all the term companies on Compulife.

The NGL will be rarely used. It's a single pay for people on Medicaid. Their sister company Settlers has a more attractive single pay if they are healthier. It's much more sellable.

you've received some very good advice from JDEasy And Newby.

I'd second Assurity, they have some good products you could use for referral sales in addition to a decent final expense. FE pay is really good when renewals are considered.

American Continental is another good one. You would also get appointed with their sister company for the nursing home sales you mentioned, also cancer and hospital coverage.

JD and Newby are both pros. Besides JD and I like the same basketball team.
