FE Pros: Who Does Annual Reviews?

I don't hear much discussion about "annual reviews" regarding final expense life insurance.

I plan on visiting clients this week who've been with me a year or longer to review their policy and suggest any changes if need be. And ask for referrals, of course.

Do you guys do this annually or at any regular interval with existing clientele?

Is not productive.

FE is a different animal.

I do try to drop in my customers on a fairly regular basis, though, just to say high, and I do deliver policies in person.

I agree! Do not do them. Causes to much work.

Made a few calls Wednesday now I have to quote a half dozen medsups. Mailed out three WL apps, emailed a FE app. Still need to mail an FE app to a client's wife and 4 apps to a client's beneficiary.

But I also have to email or mail a couple Bene change forms, a policy change and order an inforce. Bummer!

Aw Man! See, you went and contacted your clients and now you have to do work and make money doing it!

How can you respect yourself for doing such things? :skeptical:

I made the mistake of asking who they have their MedSup with. Now I may have to actually write one.

What hurt was to a man each MedSup question got "I am sorry, I did not know you did that". Ouch!

Don't know why you think it non productive.. People's needs change and seldom is every need covered with the the first sale.. The easiest person to sell is one who has bought from you in the past and I guarantee you if you aren't reviewing their coverages, someone else will.

I was just thinking how great it would be to offer -- what is it? -- hospital indemnity to MA-insured folks who have an FE policy with me.

I'll have to look into that.

I prefer to write people that have insurance. I assume others do as well. I prefer to be the replacer not the replaced.

It's funny, one of the most popular policies I write of of FE clients and orphans. Is young family plans. Single women with children mostly.
