FE sales via PHONE?

Im just thinking filling in for slow Medicare times. Not a grind. Dont need the money or the hassle to grind.
Get the T65 app and do your own dmail. You can knock them or draw them in. I only work with the ones that come to me.

Buy some aged leads and drip them. You're not doing these to pay the bills but you will keep your funnel full. Works out pretty good over time.
 
I did a lot of FE at one time but for some years its been all Medicare

Like to mix back in FE but getting a bit long in the tooth for all the drive/face time

Ive read some comments about selling FE phone--and I've gleaned its a pretty difficult nut. Selling it in person was one of the easiest things I've ever done but nothing to compare it to

Anyone that has done or DOES do both give me their input?

Probably be working from DM leads

I started FE face 2 face in 1999, started FE telesales in 2004 when the carrier started. We work live TV transfers which many consider to be the best FE lead for telesasles. It's the best lead I've ever seen in my 24 years experience.

Telesales with live TV transfers is easier than with DM, even though DM can work, because a person responding to a TV lead has higher "intent" than someone responding to a DM piece. The closing % is usually higher than with face 2 face DM.

The mistake all the Medicare carriers make is--thinking Seniors want/need information. (When they get the info they twist it up anyway) The only thing that really works is somehow being in front of them--referred, DM, TV etc at the SECOND they decide to buy.

DM is expensive enough but TV I hear is outrageous?

May have changed over the last few years but---people that buy FE in MY area generally dont use email. In fact many still have landlines. If they were well educated and middle class they wouldn't need FE?

People that talk about FE as a product do not have a clue about FE.

It is a marketing term for a product. But it's far more to it than a name.

Agents that sell FE for a living know exactly what I mean. Those that don't will never understand.

The problem in trying to get info here is that you can count on one hand the FE producers that post here and have fingers left.

To me its to cover. legitimately, a fear Seniors have had before when a loved one died. They saw or experienced death without some insurance and don't want their family to go through that. And responsibility toward their family---but they don't have the means to cover the costs. They cant lay their hands on $10000 but they can afford $50 a month

I understand that. But you are asking for FE sales advice from people that don't sell FE.

If you want to discuss selling FE face to face I will talk to you all day. Type of leads, about a presentation, setting up a schedule, reading and reacting to our people, what companies to use, etc.

But since you said you are looking for telesales I would not be of help. And unfortunately most of the people here about telesales are desk jockeys recruiting for telesales or people that sell other than FE. Neither of those are of help to you.

I do mailings JUST to Seniors apartments for MAPD. I thought I would use the same list and a different piece for FE. But want to do all of it over the phone. MAPD is gonna be hard but not sure FE would work

Your MAPD clients are going to be a natural FE cross sell. Especially your LIS clients. Just be sure to be complaint.
 
Do you use a "script?" Ive always avoided it, I hate when someone calls me and I can tell its scripted

And Seniors always throw some curve ball that is not in the script. I know what Im talking about I just not sure how to approach the calls

One I HATE is "NO I didnt send anything in" ---Oh? Mrs Turtle Hefenheimer at this number? Husband Iliad? Clearly I got that from what you mailed it--"NO never mailed anything in"

Which never happens with Door knocks!
