Ok with AEP a bust---got to get my thinking cap on for January

I have done a couple of FE Seminars in the past---used some ideas I got here

I had them at lower income Seniors apartments---offered a "drawing" for $25 gift cert for Dollar General across the street.

Building of about 100 residents, got maybe 20 attendees---almost all of them my MAPD clients

Sold nothing.

Second one same.

So now I now what DOESNT WORK---what are/have you done that DOES work?

2 seminars is not enough to say it doesn't work. Or enough to say it does if you had success.

But I've never done one that didn't result in sales. I would take Spur up on the offer to see what's going on with yours.

My experience is that they have always resulted in sales. I don't do a ton of them. Maybe 2 or 3 a year?

I would like to do more but I just don't have the time to cultivate them.

Thanks! I found I did better in AEP at Seniors Complexes than DM, Carrier set meetings, almost any other method. Would like to see if I can re-create in FE

It's funny how that works. I did a table at a senior fair that I paid $500 for and got 12 leads out of. # of sales = 0.

I do a local event that I paid $10 dollars for and got 5 leads. Sold 1 Single Premium Life for 50K and two other leads that are looking just as promising.

I know that technically that is not a seminar but the point that I'm trying to make is the same. You keep pushing. If the 3rd seminar doesn't net you anything than take a good hard look at the presentation and see what's not working. Correct that for the 4th one.
