Just about $125/mo for $25000 face with RNA. None of her meds are on their knockout list.

Thanks, Was not sure on the Meds and Hospital.

This is another Primerica term deal that is terming out. I wrote the husband a few years ago but she kept telling me that her PFS policy was guaranteed to age 100. oops!

Hey JD, just curious, I know most of the folks that you come in contact with are FE only prospects... do you ever write any fully underwritten UL for folks that are healthy and need higher face amounts? I just got a lady approved on a Guaranteed UL to age 120, age 77, $169k face, $6,000 yr premium.

I know RNA goes higher on the face amounts, but if they are going fully underwritten their rates aren't as good as some of the GULs out there. I know there is a risk of the guarantee going away if they don't pay the premium, but you can illustrate it with some cash buildup to give a little safety net in there.

I usually use Foresters for the ones that I don't think would get approved at standard on a fully underwritten, as they approve on the spot (up to $250k and age 70). Their rates are higher than the GUL carriers I normally use, but is better than FE.

No, I refuse to write UL's for FE. I do use RNA's fully underwritten whole life for higher face amounts and for people in good health. I talked to a 79 year old today about doing the fully underwritten with them.

The best rate for that lady you wrote would be about $7900/yr. for a whole life. She probably wouldn't pay the extra for the guarantees.

That's not my market anyway. My peeps are in the projects.

Hello, just curious which carrier did you use for the 77 year old; I have a 67 year old looking for about 150k, diabetic, not sure about A1c, or Ht/wt; Florida

Not Jacob but, I recently got a 70 year old $175k std with Protective. Well controlled by diet. Yesterday I got a pre app evaluation from Sagicor for 81 female Std. F 81, New type II 6.6A1c, controlled by diet. BTW, yes she can afford it, 6 years ago I sold her a $175k GUL for $731mo. GUL does work for some seniors.

Just wondering, why not GUL?

Just wondering, why not GUL?

The difference is that if for any reason an insured misses a prem pymt down the road, at a point when there is no internal value in the policy with GUL, the policy can and will lapse. Comparably the WL policy with APL will carry itself for some period of time depending upon the age of the policy. So there is a degree of forgiving nature to the WL policy compared to the GUL. When using a policy for FE my inclination is to greatly prefer the WL approach vs GUL.
