Final Expense Companies to Consider? Should I Go with an IMO?

I am new to the insurance business. I've had my license for about a year. I want to get into selling Final Expense but want to know from some GURU's on here and everyone else with experience, can you guys pass me some recommendations for Final Expense companies and or IMOs to consider contracting with. Thanks for helping the NewInsuranceLady get started properly!

Not necessarily. Foresters and Columbian Financial Group are writing in NY and several states as is Liberty Bankers. Correction, Liberty does not write NY.

There are some NY carriers that sell elsewhere, but there are TONS of FE companies that aren't anywhere to be found in NY. If someone is starting FE outside of NY, they really should be working with folks that are familiar with the other carriers.

Thanks Josh, I'll be sure to check them out!

I am biased towards EFES but they are not the only game in town.

Depends on your endgame. Do you want to be a fulltime FE producer writing business with your own pen or do you want to an FE upline/manager?

Different answers for each situation. If it's producer then EFES hands down. They have the best lead system and a proven track record for training and support.

They are not for the part time agent though. There is nothing wrong with adding FE as a sideline to other business but it's what one wants to do then definately do not get on the EFES lead program.

If the endgame is to build a team then I would not recommend EFES for that either. It's a system for the producing agent. Not for management wannabes.
