Got a 40 year old guy, spoke with his sister who is his representative payee (like a power of attorney). This guy is disabled since 2005, and she needs a little life policy or final expense thing for him, maybe $15,000 max. He is ADD, clinical depression, dyslexic, non suicidal but on some heavy meds.

The psychosis disabled him. What type of policy could I write him up for and what company would get him through underwriting? Probably not worth my time, but oh well - maybe its time to get schooled in final expense here....

Most companies will rate him as graded with clinical depression and on disability and being that young limits his choices of companies.

Settlers will write him for $10,000 for $42.19 for 20-year pay or 55.65 on 10-year pay. I wouldn't advise someone that young to go lifetime pay because it's only a few bucks per month less than 20-yr.
