Final Expense -- Easy Cross Sell

There are other carriers that you can currently sell over the phone. The best carrier is Foresters, who is working to improve their new voice signature methodology to be easier to sell than its current version. It is not yet available everywhere, but the states where it is currently available are growing monthly. And, as you probably already know, the rates are just about the best in the industry.

Let me know if I can help.

Frank,

The Med Sup/Final expense cross-sell sounds like a great plan. But in my current situation, I am finding that I am only able to sell Baltimore Life over the phone. Others available to me must be sold face to face. Also, BL's appointment fees for non-residents are nearly prohibitive in some cases: FL: $60; MA: $75! I am nearly going broke just trying to get set up!

I'm in California. Any Final Expense companies you could recommend? Blue Cross had one but stopped it 6 months ago so I just stopped selling it (without looking for another company).

Yes.. United Home Life you can sell in person or via mail there.
Foresters is approved for in-person sales only in California, but not the voice signature option (YET).

I would strongly suggest that you contact Nick Perry. His contracts will most probably be the very best available.

His contact information is: 404-660-1020. He is really a great guy to work with.

Sorry, almost forgot - Sentinel Security Life - they have excellent rates for final expense, great compensation, and three plans to accommodate almost anyone. It can be sold via mail, too.

Have great contracts for all, too, if you need them.

IMHO. Sentinel Security SUCK! to work with. They also have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It seems the Life department is maybe 5 people max. Very rinky dink! Maybe better in different states. But I doubt it.

An added benefit to RNA is no PHI/Interpreters.

What is a good company to use for lists of people by age? Got a list from InfoUSA and one of the ladys had been dead for 6 years....from your experience, which one is the best?

I have always had good luck with Lead Concepts. Their lists are a little more expensive but they seem to keep them up to date.

Frank, I have a customer that called looking for a final expense policy with a face value of only about $10K. He is 71 years old and in fairly good health. Should I be looking at a GI whole life? Is $85 a month an unreasonable amount for him to expect to pay?

That really isn't my area of expertise. I'm sure there are plenty of others who can advise you.
