1) At least one of your main three companies needs to accept ALL ages 0-85. Settlers, TransAmerica, Assurity, Standard Life and Causality all offer this. My personal favorite for the under 50 ages for simplified issue is Settlers.
2) It's nice to have a company with some extras for those cases where you need to stand out. Settlers and Royal Neighbors are easy to sell due to their value added extras when you have applicants who want "the best" not "the cheapest".
Person could go broke following your advice and picking Settlers......
Seriously, you have a dozen or more references to Settlers in that article.. Probably a time for an update.

My favorite part is dont go captive by accident. But that's exactly what you are doing with fex. Going captive. They claim they are releasing but really they go behind closed doors and whine to the carriers not to recontract you. Well they got kskj to screw me on my contract and then they blocked my settlers as well because of Scott's relationship with them. Which was fine I never needed them. So they release but with their relationships they really dont release. Then the weasel blames it on the carriers. Which we know isn't true.Could you give us a specific example?

Anyway only reason I posted was because I got a message from another agent and it sparked the topic for me again. I really dont care either way. I just know I will never do business with either kskj or fex. They are both run by some of the shadiest in the business. Choose your relationships wisely. 99% percent of the agents below fex are really great trustworthy guys. Like jd believe it or not what your opinions are of him of his brash personality, he is really one of the most down to earth honest guys. Cant say enough of nick frumkin, he is probably the most knowledgeable and honest agent on here and truth is if the dude wasnt working part time he would write more business than any of you also. Joe bash and bob mclever and the list goes on and on that they are all really great people. They weren't done dirty by their upline so they have no reason to change or tell the truth of fex. Any and all comments ever were specifically travis and scott only. And with kskj same thing. There are great people there. But the people that make decisions dont do right by their agents. They only do right by fex. Period. And that to me says alot about the type of people they truly are. Good luck to all of you and maybe I will see some of you on trips. But I dont want involved in any of this anymore as my career has moved on. So I'm changing my email so I won't get notified anymore. Peace
