Final Expense: Optimum Age Range to Target

With forresters, I typically try to use it for ages 50 or below. The best part of their plans are the critical illness rider and the orphan benefit.. We have had success with them in the 35-50 year old ranges

If I am going to be doing some telemarketing and direct mail for final expense ( with Foresters ), what is an optimum age range to target where prospects may still have a need there?

Right now, I like 60 to 79. Anything over 79 and you're looking at reduced commission for the same work and lead cost and less change they'll be in optimal health.

Anything less than 60 and you're increasing the likelihood that they're still working all day and will be harder to reach. Also, the 55-60 is just slightly less inclined to purchase than those at a higher age. This could be because more of their friends are dying off as they reach the high ages. This is just my opinion.

look not only at age but income in the area.

I like marketing to 65 to 77. This way I can cross sell to them and it seems they qualify better.
