Final Expense Trade Magazine or Periodical

There was a time, long ago, when an agent could take his newly arrived "Life Insurance Selling" magazine or any other business related magazine and take a seat at his desk early in the morning or sit in his recliner under a lamp late at night and get some good ideas from others in our industry. Does anyone know of any such periodical or monthly magazine for today's final expense or Medicare supplement specialist?

I spend far too much time in front of a damned monitor with my daily business duties to be interested in reading from a monitor. I like the feel of a book or a magazine as I peruse its contents and topics.

Anyone? Any alternatives such as a mobile app that can read its own articles?

I hated it when they changed the name to Retirement Advisor or whatever. I don't even read it when it comes in the mail anymore.

Nobody wants to call themselves a life insurance agent these days?

Here's a book on FE by our very own Rearden if you haven't already read it, I recommend it.

Yes, thomasm, I agree. It's a sad state for life insurance agents.

Thanks, Goillini52. I'll look forward to reading it.

Thanks, STIBROKER, but I have no further interest in my 2 dimensional relationship with my monitor. At 60 it's the last thing I want to do. I miss the old days when an agent could just carry his rate book and a Flitcraft Compendium in his briefcase. Those were great days.

Anybody remember Flitcraft?

How funny!
I too recall having them in the "old" days. Sadly, it's all gone online now.
Soon we will too.

I'd give everything to go back to the days when sound mutuals were king, universal life was just a concept, and agents dressed like professionals.

We are destined to be the next dinosaur. Step aside travel agents.

Thanks but no thanks to sitting in front of a monitor.
