As a complete rookie to insurance where would you suggest I learn how to sell the product? If I became a captive agent I would get training from the company....along with crap commissions.

The only thing you will learn from that site is how to get rid of $50. Everything there can be gotten for free the same way he got it.

Slush, I don't think he is about to GIVE you a link to any all powerful site. It appears as if he's toying with you, if your time and effort is worth the $50 bucks ...part with the "fiddy".
Looks like jdeasy is saying all the info can be gathered for FREE, which most things can but we pay for books, guides, or "how to" videos to save time, effort or pain....bottom line is research cost something.

He learned everything he has on the site from Shannon Davey at EFES. Once he washed out at EFES he started a site to make money on what he got from Shannon. Not that it worked for him in the world of actually trying to be an FE agent.

JDeasy, let's break this down...
1)You think the finalexpense101 subscription is crap. In your own words you write, "It's worth just bout as much as this post. I think PT Barnum..." AND "The only thing you will learn from that site is how to get rid of $50."
2)You then concede that the purveyor of finalexpense101 simply regurgitated everything on the site from a Shannon Davey at EFES.
So, if A+B=C then finalexpense101 is full of Shannon Davey's teachings and its crap. So worthless in fact that it is a total waste of money.
Therefore we can ONLY conclude that Shannon Davey is a bum crumb and anyone that wants to learn the FE wisdom of Shannon Davey is wasting their time and money.
Looks to me like you threw Shannon Davey under the bus. Is Shannon Davey on the forum to defend him/her self?
Before the EFES Gods issue your punishment, do you want to retract any statements?
Are you going to allow people to follow this LOGICAL conclusion?
Is it possible that you have a personal issue with the purveyor of finalexpense101 and that you want to sabotage his ability to earn a living through slander? Do you have first hand knowledge? Are you a subscriber yourself? I didn't think so.
At this point it can only be one or the other.
Either:
1) Shannon Davey's FE wisdom is garbage and no one should pay for it.
or
2)You have a personal vendetta (as kids today say "you're hating") against the purveyor of finalexpense101

No, it's good inforamtion that he got from Shannon davey. Shannon Davey is a great FE agent and and a great trainer. I just take issue with someone stealing another's training and putting it out there as their own and also charging for it.
No personal feeling one way or the other for the owner of the site as i don't know him personally. I do know that a lot of what he claims about his own work as an FE agent is not what he puts out there.
Of course he put much of it on the board himself about his chargebacks and how he didn't know what to do. This was before the light came on and he decided to try and make money off the unwitting. If you want to be the borad detective then go back through the archives and find those old posts.
I'll say this as fact: I don't care where he got his training or who's training he is regergitating, it works for agents and is worth the money. I've got way too many agents that have used his site and have learned from it. I have yet to have one agent come back to me and tell me it wasn't worth the money; not one!
I do wish he wouldn't limit it to a 3 months subscription, but that's his choice.
