I would throw United in the mix of the above to be competitive

I can tell you this much the overall policy form is your standard HO-3. They do build in the screen enclosure under the Cov A. which is nice these days where almost everyone adds A via an endorsement for the screen.

They also offer the HO-8 which I do not recommend nor do I offer at my agency.

From my communication with underwriters I have worked with in the past there rates have drastically increased State wide, decreasing slightly as you head North.

United is fairly competitive if the home is newer. Everything else I agree with in regards to Universal P&C.
