FMO's and Territories ? ? ?

Hi DHK,

No...your existing client base or ANYONE other source of business you capture is Excluded. ONLY the Mail - Seminar Business is exclusive.

Also, I PAY FOR THE MARKETING....not them. I pay for Mailers, Diners, Assistants, etc. They do not provide the leads.

The comm. is standard 7%. Fixed Index Annuities only.

They help with the following:
  • *Help setup and do the mailings
  • *Help select Restaurants
  • *Help place the annuity
  • *Help with Sales calls
  • *Do Weekly Sales Meetings
  • *Teach you how to Sell Annuities using the Diner Seminar System
.

7% is not standard commission. IA comp varies anywhere between 4%-8%. The average for a 10 year product is probably around 6%.

The only carriers I know of that pay 7% on most 10 year products are Genworth & F&G. Allianz used to but now I think its 6.5%.

If they are not paying for anything then I would ask for the response rates their mailers. I would also ask for some referrals to other agents who use their systems. Especially with the contract they want you to sign.

You can get that type of support without the handcuffs with lots of other IMOs.

HI sc,

The response rate is around 1%. They send out 5000 pieces to get 50 butts. This is according to some present agents.

TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.

Substitute the words "I pay for" everytime you use the word "help" and let's see if it's a better deal.

The next step is to figure out if THEIR PRICES are comparable to other places to do the same thing.

By reputation, RME360 would be someone I would call and ask them about their pricing to do this with them alone.

If the pricing for their services is comparable with a higher anticipated response rate, go for it with that company.

If not, do it yourself with RME360.

Isn't that basically what your FMO is doing for you?

It is fairly common. You will have to be like a captive under them. If it's good, then go for it! If not, don't even start. They can even help you in financial planning for high yield annuities.

Lol...yeah but How do you know if its good or not?

Locking into a Territory doesn't sound like a good biz plan to me..

Wow plus the cost of the seminar. I wonder how many of the 50 they sell. Must be many. Alternatively, 5000 SSB mailers would give approx. 150 to go door knock. Total cost, $2,300.
