I am a big fan of the Signature blocking. The bigger and obnoxious the signature the quicker I am at blocking it.

I have never figured out what the big deal over signatures is all about.. I scroll on by them and most of the time don't even notice them..

It's not about the signature per say it's about the fact the comments made by the person with the signature are only commented because of the signature.
In layman's terms what I mean is the person would've never made a non-comment if it wasn't for the point that he wanted his signature to be known.
Or many comments are not even related to the original post they simply just made a comment to sell their leads or recruit.

No, it works fine. I have a moderator blocked.
Although he still responds to my posts since I get an email. But I'm not interested in anything he could write, although I'm sure 99% of the posts are just memes.

I think the signatures are a necessary evil. If you did away with them then those that advertise, whether directly or indirectly, would only get more obnoxious then they are now.
