You think $11,000 a year is a lot of money to have a serious conversation with 500-750 people about their insurance? Wow. What's your closing ratio, 3%?

$11,000 buys approx 28/1000 piece mailer = 28000 pieces
Thats approx 420 returned mailers.... 1.5%

100 (80%) actual sales
$250 avg monthly premium x 100 sales = $25,000 in premium
$25000 x 12 months x 18% contract = $54,000
You want to spend 20% of your earnings on 1 single marketing technique????
Also to make a comfortable $200K annually you would need to spend 44-50,000 per year using your plan
* So the question is if I am using exclusive telemarketed leads at no cost, why in Gods name would I piss away $50K per year???? I could by a $50K tax deferred, fixed rate annuity, (10) years in a row and get a 10% bonus with each with 5% fixed interest rate from American Equity and make.........you figure it out and please post the math result.....THEN ASK YOURSELF why you are spending any money on yhose gift, mailer etc....
The math may be off by a % or so, coz I'm sitten on the bank of the Ohio, cat fishin, havin a beer while on my laptop...see we only have a 4-day work week...every week.
Please dont waste your time or mine on congecture, payback or redeeming comments...simply do the math and TELL US ALL WHERE YOU WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SPEND AN EXTRA $50k PER YEAR

You could afford to spend an extra $50K a year on "hooked on phonics" -that I do know. I realize it's hard for old men to learn at the speed of 6 and 7 year olds, but I think it would be well worth your time.
Also, one word you might want to really get a good grip on is C-O-M-D-E-X. That's spelled with "C" not a "K" like you might think. It's tricky I know.
Look up American Equity's and then get back to me on who's pissing their money away.

AS WE ALL JUST SAW....MATH ROCKS nothin but conjecture and snipes....let me help you on the math since you must have had trouble.. over $30K for the agent that writes the annuity and over a mi for the smart manager that invested what you carelessly spent.....if u dont like american equity....the same math works for alliance, avivia
