an exampe of this might be something like this:

1. Did you know that theft of personal property is not covered under your auto policy. Theft of things such a CD's are never covered but if transporting something from your house and is stolen it could be covered under your homeowners or renters policy.

or

2. Did you know that 30% of Mississippi motorist are driving with out auto insurance. Is your Uninsured Motorist coverage at the correct limits?

Give it up man. There are no "fun or interesting facts" about insurance. It's not a "fun or interesting" subject - except maybe to you. Logic doesn't sell!

Better idea: have a flyer where clients give testimonials of how your recommendations have helped them avert disaster.

Insurance is serious, keep it that way, give them FAQ type of info to educate them, if you sound intelligent, they'll expect expert advice and service from you, rather than coming off like a circus act.

I have that stuff already to give away, I just wanted some fun insurance info to hand out as well.

Nobody wants "fun insurance" facts at a festival. They want a DRAWING!! Something big enough for them write down their info and stick around till closing time. People go insane over that stuff (I've done it).

I am giving away freebies and I am also doing a raffle. I guess fun was definately the wrong word. I just wanted to put together a one page literature that they would actually read and find informative but, I guess that cant be done. I will just stick with my current flyers, freebies and raffle.

If you get a small wheel of fortune that makes a big noise, have people spin the wheel AFTER they fill out their info (with their permission to call) and vary the number of tickets they get based on spin, people will literally line up at your booth. The winning prize must be really worthwhile though.

"You win: MASSIVE STROKE!"

And then have my contact info on the bottom with something like "If you're planning to counter medical bills by buying more scratch-off's, you should know that there's a better way. I can show you. 404-660-1020." But noooooo, my fiancee nixed that one.

When will you be ready to die? It is coming, but are you ready? Is you family ready to take over and pull your load?

Just about everyone that I know is having heart attacks these days. None of them every planned on having one and now they are all S.O.L.

YOu don't buy D.I. or C.I. insurance because you think it is going to happen, you buy it because you want to make sure if it does that you will be okay.
