Client buys on carrier XYZ on exchange for 2014 plan year with another agent, or by themselves.

Client calls you, and you assist them, you adjust the APTC, and determine the client should stay with same carrier, with the same or different plan.

First year commish or renewal % ???
What if OFF exchange, and then move to ON exchange with same carrier?

Could be tough situation given these WBE fees, and time spent.
 
I did this a few times last Open Enrollment. The carrier (bx) had an agent case assumption form online, for us to print, fill out, fax in. It was F.Y.C. $ for New Plans still in their first 12 months, and the commensurate R.C. $ on plans that were in year 2, 3, 4, etc..

Probably renewal, I would guess that insurance companies will do everything possible to avoid paying 1st year commissions, particularly when the client already has one of their plans-I believe both Aetna and Humana addressed this in their compensation plans.
