Generating Leads for P&C

Hello everyone! I am a brand new agent for a multi line company. I've been in insurance for almost 5 years, with the same company I am an agent for now so I know my products and I know how to service my book. However... I am 25 years old and my 'natural market' really doesn't include any potential 'centers of influence'; they're all stay-at-home moms or new college grads with entry level jobs. I will purchase leads but my experience with those has been mediocre. Its not where I want to focus. How do I generate leads and develope COIs?

I'm in your boat, an agency principal at the age of 26. You have to prove yourself to the most likely older COIs. I did this by prompt service they just want to get their loans closed or take care of their clients. If the people they refer leave good feedback they will continue to refer. The networking group I'm in is all people in their 40s+ but they trust me based on how I've treated them and their clients.

I got in this business at 22 at least now that my "natural market" is 25+ the rates are a little better ha.
