i just got my book to test for the life and health.. with nylife.
now i know nylife does not do health so i need some health insurance company to represent. again i want to succeed and want to make about 60k the first year..
what would u recommend? i am in mass

I suggest You read that book from cover to cover.

Take notes

Create flash cards if need be.

Get a non resident license at least in MD. I say that cause they are the closest state you with an indiviual health market.

Join the IHIAA.

Since mass is a guaranteed issue state with mandatory health insurance you will need to figure out how health insurance agents are being succcessful there. Can be different.

You may not want to be a captive agent on the health side as well. I would get licensed with at least a couple of health carriers if possible - it will be easier to place the business.
