Just got a Childrens Life Insurance flyer from Globe in the mail. Its unlike I any I have seen from them. The rates are unreal. How in the world can we compete with this with say RNA or Monumental?
It is whole life and good till death. Rates locked.

For 25K the rates are:

Age 0-7 $8.50
Age 8-15 $11.55
Age 16-21 $14.30

RNA Essential Whole Life is roughly double these prices.

Advise on how to compete? anyone?

I do not know anything about Globe's product, but first question I would ask, is it participating whole life? Also, do those rates go up once my child hits that age band?

I usually combat them with RNA's 20 pay or Monumental's 10 pay. Never much issue. I replaced 2 Globe policies already this week.

Agree, most just sign up for coverage because of price without talking to an agent and have no idea whats available. That is where our valuable service comes in.

The brochure says "The rate you pay is based on your child's present age and is guaranteed to stay the same for the rest of their life".

Yeah it seems that way. The only chance is like JD says with a 10 or 20 pay.

Sell the benefits of a paid up policy a lot of people like that fact that they don't have to pay forever and that is earns them cash accumulation at a faster rate for college money. There is a lot of benefits you can point out.

Do they have PW? GIO? ABRs? PUAs? You don't need any of that. I can match those premiums and benefits within a few pennies, but "Sell on price, lose (get replaced) on price". I'm still a noob, but this I know: When I'm there, I have no competition, I don't bring them with me. :twitchy: Lawd help 'em if they bought over the phone or through the mail. :1wink: Read some of the classics by Ben Feldman, John Savage, etc. Good Selling!

I have a female age 5, $25,000 She had had a TB skin test that popped positive. Doc put her on a med. But says she is not positive for TB. AIL just declined her.

Any suggestions?

I am writing the other children with Cinci.

Just writing

Age 0 = $10.41
Age 4 = $10.47
Age 6 = $11.00
Age 9 = $11.95
Age 12 = $13.86

Does not beat them, But they get me. Makes them the winner.:1cool:
