It might be a broad topic, but I wanted to ask what go-to technology you are using today in your practice/business? While we are not a "paperless" office, I find we are scanning, storing, filing, etc., more electronically.
I see more companies (life) moving to end-to-end, straight through processing, online, and "app on a lap" type technology. Touch-screen, on-screen application process? Anyone doing that?
I am using dictation services -- phone in, immediate turnaround dictation services. I hand my recorder to my assistant everyday for notes, memos, etc. But I also find myself phoning in notes regarding a meeting, right after the meeting, as soon as I get in the car. Works for me.
What are you using more client/data management? Smart Office? Act?
Thank you.
