Google Now, who Knew? Advice on Using for Work Streamlining?

So late to the party, it seems. Went to my few months old phone and saw that "Google Now" wanted to update. Not so fast, what *is* it in the first place, I thought.
Wow, it's got some great features, example: notifying of events like upcoming flights, from seeing them on gmail.
Any of you using Google Now in business to streamline work?
