Graham Cassidy Legislation

Breaking: McCain is a NO.
Collins won't bend

MEDICAL and INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE ELATED!

From: https://seekingalpha.com/news/32971...es-losses-mccain-just-doomed-obamacare-repeal

"The Health Care SPDR (NYSEARCA:XLV) had been in the red this session, but it's returned to flat after the Arizona Senator says he won't vote for Graham-Cassidy.

The GOP could theoretically still pass the bill, but that would require getting "yes" votes from two of three from the Collins, Murkowski, and Paul trio.

Hospital names are moving higher, and insurers as well (some remain in red, but are well off lows). Centene (CNC +2.4%), Molina (MOH +5.2%), UnitedHealth (UNH -1%), WellCare (WCG +0.7%), Aetna (AET +0.1%), Cigna (CI +0.2%), Humana (HUM +0.1%)"

It will be interesting to see what President Trump does now. Work quickly with Chuck Schumer to increase the threshold for subsidy eligibility, and throw $20 billion to the health insurer enticement pot?

Winner by default, and still the overbearing champion..............ACA

https://faegrebd.com/webfiles/Healthcare_Comparison_Chart_9-18-2017.pdf

The only things the public wants fixed is the rates and choice

They don't want Medicaid touched.

They want MEC/EHB

They don't want lifetime max or pre ex back.

535 people need to wake up.

1. If you choose to be irresponsible, you don't get coverage on day 1. Pre ex 6/6/12/12. (Just FYI, this was the sticking point for AHCA in the House. The Medishare folks realized they were going to get a 30% hit when they got sick and jumped in the ACA pool and went nutso. The 30% got yanked and VOILA...the Freedom Caucus came on board)
2. Federal Stop Loss at 50 or 75K
3. Make MAPD partcipation tied to ACA offerings.

That's it. Stop making this harder than it needs to be.

Police start the hearing carrying out people chanting in wheelchairs.
And went into recess until there is order in the room (hatch)
