I am doing a short presentation at a retirement home today, they have weekly meetings for the residents, and are going to let me speak to a group for about 30 minutes about FE.

I should I handle settings up meetings, leave cards or tell anyone who is interested to contact the complex manager who will get up with me.

Man, great gig!! I would love to do that. This ain't MA plans or PDP. Give them your presentation just as you were doing it one on one. Give them your contact info to call you direct.

Only go through the manager if that's who set it and wants it done that way.
 
Thanks JD. Never had the chance to do a group presentation before If it works out they have 4 other retirement centers in the area they manage

Thats awesome, I was thinking of posting about this! I want to be able to do this reg (few times a month), but I have no idea how to begin using that strategy. I used to do public speaking when I was in the mortgage industry & loved it.

How did u get that gig capnjim? Does anyone know of a way to go about getting reg gigs like this, pls share or contact me, Id like to do this as well??

This would be perfect when Im in WEST LA only 2-3 days every other week, instead of trying to manage leads out there!
 
This is one of the things I like about finalexpensesuperstars, Cody gives you a wav file of his seminar, and the outline, ways to monetize it.

Libraries and some Senior Centers don't want any solicitation going on, so a good way to remedy this is by having an about us page on a info packet, and for a number/email to be in there some where for further questions if they have any, staple your card to the packet if you can.

Things I would go through would be possible ways to pay for FE and the pros and cons of each. What types of people need FE, the consequences of not reviewing past life insurance in case its term or not performing well.

If your allowed to solicit, just have them fill out a contact card in the beginning, have check boxes for interest in finding a plan, reviewing current coverage, or no contact at all. The cards are much more useful when there are prizes to win, collect the cards and use them for the drawings.

Not that I would know what to say right now, but I dont think coming up with what to cover is the hard part...the hard part is HOW do u approach this strategy? Thats where Id need a lot of help on!

I had a friend manager of a retirement center that had me come speak about MA plans. This was well before MIPPA and it was a great deal for me. I wrote over 30 plans from that place. Only about 4 or 5 from the initial talk, but after the others got talking among themselves and telling what they did my phone started ringing non stop.

I got a call from there a couple of weeks ago by referral. I had to send it elsewhere as I don't do MA plans anymore.

I sold a handful of FE plans there as well. Do not even mention MA or PDP even if you do them. Thalk about FE only. It's great that they are having you do it. You are automatically seen as an expert on subject.

If I were doing it I would do my normal "4 questions" presetation. How Much? What Kind? From Who? When?

That covers everything they need to know. Anything they don't understand they will ask.

I walked into the managers office and she gave me the name of the lady incharge of their programs, I meet with her and we hit it off and she set a time for me to do the presentation.

wrote a small policy today, set one for Thrusday and the lady I'm seeing Thrusday called one of her neighbors and set another appointment for me today. So basically it came from cold calling.

Have them fill out an evaluation form at the end. Offer a prize drawing on the spot for those who do. Include a check-off box on your form that says, "YES, I'd like to talk with you about affordable burial insurance plans. Please call me, here's my number."

Good idea. I was actually going to get some guidance from my manager but they never got back to me so i just decided to wing it.
