CUNA Mutual Group acquires Assurant’s global prearranged funeral and final expense business

Their agents call me fairly often looking for leads. They do have a strange model where no agent has a "lead territory" they just tend to recruit agents that want to work out on the road and just hit the road every Monday. There are guys out there that prefer to do that rather than be at home every night.

Any guy trying to stay married knows being home with their spouse every night is essential.
They are laying next to the person every night who could destroy them financially.
On the other hand if you're a young single guy with a little game, traveling out a few nights a week and being in hotel rooms can be very exciting when you use Tinder and Bumble.
I bet their agents have some really good stories ;)

When I got divorced I was the bumble and tinder king . It's like being in a candy store . Met 3 some days . But when your meeting 3 so are they . Woman coming off a long marriage want to get wild . But I told every woman up before we met we go dutch . You got a job just like me and you want sex just like me .But my business suffered big .

Tinder king !
Sounds like you're having a lot of fun. You only go thru life once might as well knock down as many as you can.
Could you imagine being married to one of those ladies selling on the road for Orca ?
These young guys today have to deal with that.
I'm sure they wouldn't want you in the same hotel,in a room down the hall 300 miles away from home playa!

Yeah, a week or so ago.

Back on subject, AmMem adds nothing to CUNA.

Completely non competitive product. I probably replace more AmMem than any other company out there.

They are almost as easy to replace as AmAm. But I see far more AmMem out there.

Mainly because of ORCA.

Went on a lead card today and learned from the insured that an Orca agent out of Kentucky got her to replace a 5 year old Forester's level 12K she was paying $44 a month on because she was frightened when the agent told her if Forester's went out of business she would not be protected by the state guarantee fund since it's a fraternal.

He sold her the same 12K with Am Am immediate for $60 a month and had her surrender the Forester's for her $600+ CV.

She did not need the money. She surrendered the Forester's because she believed the agent and was scared to death.

Nice,sweet,god fearing trust country lady.

Dude's a snake.

Were you working Virginia or w Virgina ? Those orca agents will travel 6-8 hrs from Louisville to work an area my friend tells me . He replaces them left and right in Indiana .

W.Va.
It's illegal to talk about the Guarantee fund.
This outfit pulls a kind of bull crap.
Thier website says integrity is their #1 priority.

I'm sure they are all over Indiana Kentucky Ohio

It's not too hard to beat AmAm is it? He should have replaced that just so she is not stuck with a scammer for an agent.

Yeah Moo is usually my price buster but they they don't allow replacements in W.V. with Living Promise.
Only using Trans when I have no other choice so LBL was the way to go here.
She ended up with about $1500 more coverage for the same premium.

The Am Am was issued 08/05/2022,7 days after the free look was up so she only made 1 premium l

I always offer to help these kinda folks who been had by these crooks but they never want to move forward and file a complaint when I ask.

I guess they must train the agents at Orca to screw seniors ?

What can be done to stop this crap ?

AmAm doesn't allow replacements in WV either.

The agent probably had a local number. They all use the card with the Louisville address. Their thing is to travel though. An agent we filed a DOI complaint against in western Ky was in Va a couple weeks later and got a DOI compliant filed there too.

Another one that I had a complaint on a couple years ago was down in the Memphis area and got a complaint filed against him there.

I had one today where the agent forgot to do a replacement form. I got a feeling his answer will be that he didn't know she had prior coverage. Except he witnessed the surrender form. :1smile:
