GTLife Modified Term... cash value?

Need some feed back.

Ran into an old GTL modified term 20 life plan yesterday. $5K face, $30 per month. Policy showed cash value (which the 80 yr old client has borrowed on) until 20th year. Ilistration shows cash build, then CV starts to decrease until 20th year and it zeros out.

This plan is a big fat zero at the end of the term? Client is going through prostrate cancer (doing well). Options or ideas?

I only see GI in his future and if not soon, he's not coverable right? Any 81 yr old GI out there?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like a very old policy. Check if there is a conversion option. If so, find out if you get paid as a new agent. If so AOR it first.

Probably he is SOL.
