GUL for 68 Female

I am in competition with local funeral home owner he is showing her a GUL.
Can anyone suggest a company to look at for her? What would the rate be on a 68 year old female nonsmoker, clean health, good height/ weight?

The GULs just shown aren't the most competitive. This lady could be preferred plus for all I know.

If she wants the cheapest product ask her that. Or If she wants value and wants to know pros and cons of GULs for the purpose of final expenses then maybe you can educate her

The funeral director is quoting her 25k for $55. That all she knows about it. She is definitely preferred.

Could be several companies, guessing he quoted Preferred Plus. If she thinks GUL is best, then I'd quote her a similar GUL, and try to add value compared to the guy at the funeral home

A $25,000 face will limit your list of carriers. I use Lincoln National a lot, but they won't sell a $25,000 face.

Midland National has the lowest rate for $25,000 on my quote engine at $60.50. Doubt the funeral director has a policy guaranteed to age 100 for $55.

Midland National/North American is what I was going to suggest. It's a very high quality policy in addition to being well priced. Has an excellent ABR for critical and chronic illness included free. So it also acts as a cancer/heart attack/stroke plan.

Sagicor is actually really competitive on these cases...anything 100k and up other carriers will certainly come into play but if you're looking for a GUL that competes at low faces for healthy folks, they're pretty good.
